These sessions will focus on supplying a basic knowledge of the technological
developments of photography in the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries with special focus on albumen, silver gelatin, and chromogenic, print materials, and glass plate and film base negatives.
This course was originally a part of the project Caring for Yesterday's Treasures—Today, a series of free, online courses focused on the preservation of archival and historical collections. The project was created and organized by Heritage Preservation with funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
